CMC vs VMC
VMC is the registered-trademark (or government mark) BIMI certificate. CMC is the common-mark alternative where that programme applies. Neither encrypts mail. Neither is website TLS.
How issuance works
Request a quote. The CA validates company and logo. You publish BIMI DNS (logo + mark certificate). Inbox display is only in clients that support BIMI with CMC — we do not guarantee Gmail or every mailbox.
Validation
Domain and organisation evidence plus BIMI logo rules. CMC typically expects the logo to already be in use (often about a year) rather than a registered trademark. We confirm current CA requirements on the quote.
